Film Buff Unplugged is now on Substack!

Making the move.

“This is Film Buff Unplugged.”

Or, rather, this is STILL “Film Buff Unplugged”, just in a new home.

Full disclosure:

• Taking part in an interview for “LiveNOW from Fox” talking about the film industry’s hits in 2023 and looking ahead to 2024 got me thinking about getting back to work writing about movies.

• Seeing how much it's costing me each year to keep the domain and Managed Wordpress for my old site while not writing anything new got me thinking that IF I did get back to work, it would have to be in a new venue

And so, here we are.

The old site is still up—at least until I can figure out how to redirect any visitors to that URL here. All its content is here, though, and new reviews I MIGHT write will be posted here, hopefully making for an easier way for new readers to find ways to dismiss read my take on the new movie of the week.

For those of you who know my work or have followed it through the years at CBS Radio, Monkeys Fighting Robots, or Spectrum News, thanks for staying with me.

For those of you new to my stuff—welcome. Hope you’ll stay a while, and if you disagree with what I’ve written—which I’m sure you will at some point—I hope the difference of opinion won’t drive you away. It’s just movies, ya know?
